Ms. nº 6342. Bibliothèque Royale, Rabat (Al-Khaṭṭābī, 1982: 232-233)
Miscellaneous

“Manuscript 6342 of the Bibliothèque Royale, Rabat – which we have seen first-hand – contains in its 58 pages the same text as the Jordanian edition of Al-Muqni‘, that is to say, the treatise of Al-Nahrāwī/Al-Zahrāwī or Ibn Wāfid (pp. 2-40) and excerpts from Ibn Hajjāj (pp. 40-58). However, due to its poor state of preservation it cannot be microfilmed.”

(translated from Carabaza Bravo, J. M., García Sánchez, E. & Llavero Ruiz, E., 1991. ‘Obras manuscritas de los geoponos andalusies (siglos X-XII)’, p. 1125, note 29. In: Emilio Molina et al. (eds.). Homenaje al Profesor Jacinto Bosch Vila, vol. 2. Granada: Universidad de Granada).

“A codex of 58 pages codex, with no copyist’s name, and like ms. 617j of the General Library and Archives of Rabat, the copy from which it was made was written on 21st of muarram, 970 (September 20th, 1562) as shown on page 57. The date of this manuscript is given on the last page: 8th of rabī‘ al-thānī, 1219 (July 17th, 1804).

As in the previous case (ms. 69), no name of any Andalusi agronomist is given but in the library catalogue compiled by M. A. Al-Khaṭṭābī the whole manuscript is attributed to Ibn Ḥajjāj. However, it includes two different agricultural treatises, one from Ibn Wāfid (pp. 2-40) and excerpts from Ibn Ḥajjāj (pp. 40-58).”
