Ms. nº 13812, Bibliothèque Nationale, Tunis (Kitāb fī tartīb, 1990: 43-44)
Miscellaneous

This is a brief codex containing two works of an agricultural theme, both anonymous, with a total of 44 folios. The copyist was Ahmad b. ‘Umar al-Ṣayd al-Manārī al-Tūnisī who completed it in the mid-17th century in Tunis, as recorded in folio 1r.

The first work (fols. 1r-30r) is entitled Kitāb fī tartīb awqāt al-ghirāsa wa ‘l-maghrūsāt and its anonymous 10th-11th century author is considered to be the first of the Andalusian agronomists, the so-called Anonymous Andalusī. The rest of the folios (30v-44r) contain some fragments of the works of Ibn Wāfid, though no author is cited.
